The Seventh Day *
On
the first day
God
made light and darkness
and God saw that it was good
On
the second day
God
made the water and the sky
and God saw that it was good
On
the third day
God
made land and plants and trees
and God saw that it was good
On
the fourth day
God
made the sun and the moon and the stars
and God saw that it was good
On
the fifth day
God
made fish and birds
and God saw that it was good
On
the sixth day
God
made animals, one of them man,
On
the seventh day god rested
and
left the finishing touches
to
